An Artist Called Banksy - 30 May - 27 September

30 Jun 2020

Andipa are delighted to announce our latest co-curated exhibition in Italy. Opening on 30 May 2020 in Ferrera in the northern region of Italy, “An Artist Called Banksy” brings together over 130 iconic works that document the impressive rise and career trajectory of the elusive street artist. Taking place at the prestigious Palazzo dei Diamanti, in the heart of the city, the exhibition follows on from a successful run at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.

Curated in collaboration with Acoris Andipa, Stefano Antonelli, Gianluca Marziani, MetaMorfosi Cultural Association and, in conjunction with Ferrara Arte of President Vittorio Sgarbi, who assures: “It will be the most beautiful exhibition of a reopening . . . and marks the return to “normalcy” of the Palazzo dei Diamanti.

“An Artist Called Banksy” or AKA Banksy runs until the 27September 2020 combining genre defining canvases, sculptures and prints exploring the whole range of techniques and works by the artist. Pieces that feature in the exhibition include, Girl with Balloon, Love is in the Air and the irreverent Monkey Queen. To these are added a series of official objects and memorabilia from Dismaland, the "amusement park not suitable for children" which Banksy provocatively created five years ago in the UK..

Given the current state of the world, we believe that the power of art to heal, unite and inspire is more important than ever and hope that the exhibition can offer visitors the chance to escape from these difficult times.

On behalf of director Acoris Andipa and the team, we would like to wish all those attending a memorable experience. For more information on the exhibition and to order your tickets online, visit
