Travellers, Kings & Foxes

17 Apr 2016

Three fiddlers, two voices, one melodeon and a pair of clogs!

Last Sunday 17th April, Andipa was proud to host a live music and dance performance at our gallery space in Knightsbridge. Organized by Andipa’s founder, Maria Andipa, the concert was a huge success and featured live traditional English folk music accompanied with the delicate art of clog dancing. The gallery felt alive, music and movement resonating throughout its rooms.

With over an hour of live performance, surrounding the timeless themes of love, social change and hope, performers Ben Moss and Laurel Swift were extremely successful in immersing their audience, entrancing them in the rhythms of sound and space.

The duet met as members of the Morris Dance Company, having toured both the UK and North America as well as having performed in the Royal Albert Hall. They have release several original recordings and regularly play at folk clubs and events.
