Banksy:Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction, 2004
Screenprint on paper
Edition of 150, Signed
50 x 70 cm

One of the most popular works by Banksy, 'Pulp Fiction' is a screen-print coming from the original wall art which was covered up by TFL in 2007.

This piece is a highly sought-after version of Banksy’s take on Tarantino’s iconic film. Exchanging guns with bananas, Banksy ridicules the film’s hyper-violent theme, suggesting a more irreverent approach to Tarantino’s postmodern depiction of Travolta and Jackson as dangerous criminals.

In the 2010 biographical documentary 'Exit Through The Gift Shop' by Thierry Guetta, also known as Mr. Brainwash, Banksy reveals his philosophy of uncompromising directness. His graffiti are immediately understandable, and their aggressively critical content has become Banksy’s trademark.
