An early work of Roy Lichtenstein, 'Hunter with Dog' is a woodcut which, whilst bearing a narrative aspect, serves as evidence of Lichtenstein's development as an artist and his journey towards Pop Art and world fame.
Part of an edition of only ten pieces, 'Hunter With Dog' was first exhibited in Autumn 1952 at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
