'Hotel Acatlan: Two Weeks Later' is a lithograph which, similarly to other works from Hockney’s days in Acatlán, Mexico, studies panoramic views, portraying them as a single piece of work made out of two pieces of paper joined together.
With works from the same edition at the Tate, this work sees Hockney embark on an exploration of space and its relationship with the human eye. Immediate because of its boldness of colour and format, 'Hotel Acatlan: Two Weeks Later' deals with issues of scale and viewpoints, enticing the viewer to absorb its content from different angles.
