Last night, Thursday 7 July, Andipa hosted the Private View for up and coming UK Contemporary artist Paul Robinson’s debut solo exhibition titled ‘The Hero’s Journey’.
Robinson himself attended the vernissage along with special musical guest FleshDrive playing a retro-esque set complementing the nostalgic ambience of Robinson’s work.
Pink Bear was undoubtedly the star of the evening, becoming an iconic motif that guests found a connection with. Robinson’s work is direct and bold: the colours, media and content envelope the viewer in a moment.
The exhibition features stunning large scale paintings, photography and unique prints, where Robinson’s infamous Pink Bear carries forth a powerful visual narrative that explores themes of identity, vulnerability, and imagination.
The exhibition is showing in the lower ground gallery until the 6th of August.
